Born in Campbell township June 2, 1894, he was the son of Isaiah and Catherine Keim Long, October 12, 1935, he married in Angola, Ind., to Pearl McCaul and farmed his entire life in the Clarksville area. He was a veteran of World War I serving with the army. Surviving besides the wife are two grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Ann Steckle of Garden Grove, Calif. the body will be at the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel at Clarksville until Tuesday morning when it will be taken to the Clarksville Bible church for services at 1 pm. Rev. Elwood Norton will officiate and interment will be at the Bowen Mennonite cemetery. Bearers will be Ted, John and Albert Long, Jerry and Jack Garlinger and Mike Stuart.
