Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 22 Oct 1957

Funeral services for Herman Long, 49, who died at Eckert’s Friday, were
conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Myers funeral home.  The Rev.
Heath Goodwin officiated.  Burial was in Tuttle cemetery.  Bearers were Donald
and Kenneth Badder, Clarence Higbee and Harold Moore.

Attending from out of town were Mrs. Mary Tucker, Mrs. Marciel Sprague and Ralph
Moore, all of Flint.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cobb, Ronald, Larry and
Bobbie of Lake Odessa, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cobb and Terry of Casnovia, Mr. and
Mrs. Bernard Edgel of Sunfield, Mrs. Larry Swarthout of Portland, Mr. and Mrs.
Lee Cobb and Mrs. Hazel Rather of East Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Hanks and
Mrs. Arthur Hanks of Lansing, Joseph Wahl of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wahl
of Pewamo, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Knaggs of Vickeryville, Mr. and Mrs. Ford Welch
of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Chester Esch of Okemos, Mrs. Peter Hengshack and Mrs.
Dahlia Finks of Westphalia, Mr. and Mrs. R.P. Hall of Orleans and Mrs. Ed
Moffatt of Belding.
