The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 7, 1983
Pearl E. Long, 88, formerly of Clarksville, died Saturday at Provincial House 
in Hastings.  Born May 1, 1895, in Kent County, she was the daughter of David 
and Emma Burwell McCaul.  She was married to John Long in 1935; he preceded 
her in death in March 1976.  She was a member of Clarksville Bible Church.

Surviving are two grandchildren, Gary Bowne and Sharon Cranmer, both of 
Scottsdale, Ariz.; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marcie Holtz 
of Ohio and Mrs. Maxine Boerma of Saranac; one brother, Glen McCaul of Lowell, 
and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Clarksville Bible 
Church, the Rev. Larry Pike officiating.  Burial will be in the Bowne 
Mennonite Cemetery.  The family will be at Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel in 
Clarksville Monday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
