Ionia Daily Standard, 14 Aug 1905

The friends of William Long, who have been eagerly anxious over his illness the
recent days, were pained by the announcement that death had claimed their young
friend at 12:30 this morning.  Mr. Long was aged 27 years, and was married only
7 weeks ago to Miss Clara Woodman, a very estimable teacher in the Ionia
schools, for whom there is great and sincere sympathy manifest.  The funeral
will be attended from the home, 315 East Washington St., at 2 o’clock p.m. on
Tuesday, with interment in Highland Park.
