July 13, 1960 MRS. LOIS I. LONGANBACH LAKE ODESSA-Mrs.Lois I.Longanbach, 56, route one, Saranac, died suddenly at her farm home on Ainsworth road at 4:20 a.m. Wednesday. Coroner Neil Phelps said death was due to natural causes. Mrs.Longanbach was born February 10, 1904 in Ohio, the daughter of Mr and Mrs John Shellhaas. She and her husband Walter, moving to Ionia County from St.Louis in 1941. She is survived by her husband Walter; one daughter Mrs.Marian (Ann) Middaugh, Jr., of Lake Odessa; four sons, Walter Jr., stationed in Germany, Wesley of Woodbury and John and Lewis of Saranac; 12 grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Thomas Lamey of Ithaca, Mrs. Arthur Adams of Atlanta, Mrs.Robert Harvens and Mrs. Arthur McFaul of St. Louis, and Mrs. Esther Bell of Chicago and three brothers, Russell Shellhaas of West Milton, Ohio and Michael and Joseph of Wayne. The body is at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, in Lake Odessa where funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of the son from Germany.
