Funeral services will be held from the Bandfield Funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. James Stewart will officiate. Although his health was far from good, Mr. Longdike had continued to work for Plant and Rice up to about four weeks ago when his condition became so severe as to force him to give up employment. In an effort to aid him an operation for removal of the tonsils was resorted to. This apparently weakened him to a point which prevented his recuperation. He is survived by his wife and six children all less than 13 years of age. An aged grandmother also survives.
