Ionia Daily Sentinel, 22 Oct 1951

Mrs. Edith Longdyke, 53, died at her home at 150 Adams street Sunday, October 
21, after a lingering illness.

She was born in Sebewa township November 15, 1897.  She was married to Arthur 
Longdyke April 10, 1917, in Ionia.  She had been a resident of this county most 
of her life.

She leaves two sons, Albert and Richard of Ionia; three daughters, Martha and 
Myrtle of Ionia and Pauline, Grand Ledge; nine grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. 
Ada White; two sisters, Mrs. Maybelle Hoppes of Holt and Mrs. Reva Rouse of 
Grand Rapids and two brothers, Cecil Kimble of Grand Rapids and Leo Kimble of 
Ada.  Her husband and oldest daughter preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at Myers funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday.  The 
Rev. George L. Rentschler will officiate.  Interment will be in Danby cemetery.
