Peter and Paul church Monday by Rev. Fr. J.V. Coyle, assisted by Rev. Fr. Ralph J. Kelly, for Mrs. William G. Longe, who died Friday night at her home following a long illness. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Flowers that had been such a comfort to Mrs. Longe during her illness, continued to come in up to the hour of her last rites and many beautiful blossoms have perfumed the air of the home since her death. In the church Mrs. Mary Vincent, intimate friend of Mrs. Longe, had arranged a large number of flowers, ferns, and palms. There were many friends at the home Monday morning to accompany the relatives of the funeral party to the church for the services and the church was nearly filled. Bearers were Purl Johnson, Robert Ammon, Harry J. Callow, T.P. Quinn, Thomas Hadley, and Harry H. McGowan. Those from out of town attending were: Sister Hornorata, sister of Mrs. Longe, and Sister Ann Denice, of St. Joseph’s convent, Muskegon; Mrs. Eble, William Eble, Mrs. Clayton Force, Grand Rapids; Irving Greenhoe, Robert Greenhoe, Stanton; Clarence I. Wheeler, Mrs. Nellie Wall, Mrs. Mrs. Lillie Wall, Mrs. Mary Rabout and daughter, Dolores of Detroit; K. Fouiner, Indian village, Detroit; Frank Cullinan, William Davin, Avon, N.Y., Mrs. Bertha Scully, Mrs. Bert Connoly, Mrs. Fannie Hayes and Fred Groupner, Detroit.
