The Ionia Standard, Friday, October 2, 1908

Mrs. Barbara Loomis died early this morning, after a sickness lasting eight 
days.  Her husband, Samuel Loomis, died four years ago.  They had no 
children.  Her maiden name was Robertson, and she was 70 years old.  Funeral 
on Saturday, 10 a.m., at the home near Stanton Junction.  Interment, Highland 
Park.
