She had been ill nearly eight weeks of complications that followed pneumonia. She came with her parents to this country when she was four years of age. She was the widow of Herbert E. Loomis who died 15? years ago, and had been a resident of Ionia county for 20 years before moving to Flint 15 years ago. Funeral services were held Thursday in Flint at St. Paul’s Episcopal church, where she had been a member several years, and conducted by Reverend Lane Barton, rector of that church. The burial was in Flint by her son, Ray, who died nine years ago. She is survived by eight daughters, Misses Helen, Ruth, and Alice Loomis, Mrs. Albert Coil, Mrs. Max Etson, Flint; Mrs. Allen Shank, Twining; Mrs. Royce Whorley, and Mrs. Arthur Randall, Ionia. She also leaves a brother, Andrew Taylor, Claypool, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Roe, South Bend, Indiana, and 10 grandchildren.
