Former Ionian Dies Suddenly While In Boston

Funeral services were held Saturday at Grand Rapids for Will J. Loomis, for
several years manager of the Hayes-Ionia plant at Ionia.  Mr. Loomis died
suddenly last week in Boston.  His body was brought back to the home of his
sister, Mrs. C.J. Loomis, at Grand Rapids where the funeral services were held.
 Burial was at Carson City where he was born and raised.

During the years Mr. Loomis was head of the body plant here he became well known
to the business world of this city.  He was one of the best-like executives in
the city and, when he was removed to Grand Rapids, there were many who expressed
to him their regret at his leaving Ionia.
