Anna R.Loomis Dies at Flint
Mrs. Anna R.Loomis, 76, widow of the late Superintendent of Schools Dr.Glenn 
E.Loomis of Traverse City, passed away Thursday, August 10, at lint Osteopathic 
Hospital after a long illness.

A resident of traverse City for 30 years, she had made her home at Clearwater, 
Florida since 1968.

Mrs.Loomis was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ricka Healey of Lake Odessa 
and was a 1914 graduate of Lake Odessa high school.

She had been active in many organizations while residing at Traverse City, 
including the Trillium Garden club, Order of the Eastern Star and was a member 
of the First Congregational church.

Surviving are two sons, Capt. R.J.Loomis of Fairfax,Va., and Richard of Grand 
Blanc; two sisters, Mrs.Clayton (Vera) French of Greenville and Mrs Lottie Moran 
of Grand Rapids; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at Martinson Funeral Home in 
Traverse City with burial in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
