Henry Lootens, 69, of Lake Odessa passed away May 20, 2014 in Grand Rapids.  He 
was born May 26, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant, MI the son of John and Gertrude (Varney) 
Lootens.  Henry married Dorothy Mayercak June 18, 1966.  She preceded him in 
death July 18, 2012. 

Henry is survived by his sons, Henry Alan Lootens of Lake Odessa, Jeremy 
Lootens of Lake Odessa, Matthew (Sarah) Lootens of Virginia and Jason (Amanda) 
Lootens of Hot Springs, SD; sisters, Sonja Nichols of Shepherd, Marie Nichols 
of shepherd, Leona (Eldon) Knight of Coleman, Patty (Bob) Tupper of Mt. 
Pleasant and Joan Fair of Mt. Pleasant and 13 grandchildren.  He was preceded 
in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, one brother, Jerry and two sisters 
Beverly Parker and Joyce Malley. 

Funeral services will be held at Woodard Lake Cemetery, 2 p.m. Friday, May 23, 
2014 with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Visitation will be 1 p.m. Friday 
until time of services at the cemetery.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home of 
Ionia.  Memorial contributions may be made to family choice.
