Ionia Sentinel, 24 Feb 1881

As noted last week, Mr. Charles Lott, living in Easton, and highly respected by
all who knew him, departed this life.  Mr. Lott was one of those unfortunate,
who are afflicted with a diseased heart.  The heart was taken from the body
after death and found to weigh 21 ounces.  His death was sincerely regretted by
his many friends.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.]
