Ford “Perk” Edward Loucks, 93 years young, passed away Monday morning at 
Sparrow Hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Marie Patrice; his son Dr. Arthur 
(Teresa) Hamblin; daughters Jo Ann (Dale) Trierweiler, Suzanne (Robert) 
Martorana and Sally (Mickey) Hamblin; grandchildren, Stephen Trierweiler, 
Arthur (Lindy) Trierweiler, Patrice (Brian) Phelps, Amy (Craig) Pettinger, 
Jenny Hamblin, Andrew Hamblin, Mario Martorana, Gina Martorana and Madi 
Martorana and 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., also at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia.  Interment will be at Tuttle Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers a 
memorial has been set up for Boyce Elementary for playground equipment.
