Victoria I. Loucks, 62, of Belding, passed away Saturday, October 17, 1998 at 
United Memorial Hospital in Greenville.  She was born October 8, 1936, in 
Ionia, the daughter of Frank and Gladys Ingbartsen Hoppough.  She graduated 
from Ionia High School with the class of 1954 and was a nurse’s aide for 25 in 
Ionia and Belding hospitals.

She was married August 31, 1957, to John H. Loucks in Ionia.  He survives with 
their children, Debra and William Schroeder, and Diane and Tracy DeGroat, all 
of Greenville, and Katherine Loucks, Mary Ann Edmonds and Michael Loucks, all 
of Belding.  Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and two sisters, Barbara 
Stone of Ionia, and Betty and Jerry Hall of Portland.  She was preceded in 
death by her parents and one baby girl in infancy.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home with 
Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment will be in Orleans Cemetery.  
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  Memorials may be 
made to the American Diabetes Association.
