Belding Banner-News, 18 Nov 1971

Funeral services for Charles A. Loveland, 85, of 403 E. Division Street will be
held today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. at the Huffman Funeral Home.  Mr. Loveland
died November 15 at Ionia manor.  Pastor Gordon Stecker of Ionia will officiate
at the services.  Interment will be at River Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. Loveland was born July 8, 1886 in Grand Rapids.  He was the son of Edward E.
and Maggie Van Den Vere Loveland.  He was married to Mary Haan October 27, 1904
in Stanton.  He had been employed by the hosiery mill in Belding in maintenance.
 He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by his wife Mary; one daughter Mrs. Betty Graves of Muskegon; one
son Charles (Buddy) J. Medler of Martin; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Williams of
Grand Rapids and Mrs. Margaret Rickels of Greenville.
