Ionia Daily Sentinel, 9 Sep 1946

Mrs. Grace Loveland, 149 East Riverside Drive, died Saturday afternoon about 3
p.m. at the Ionia County Memorial hospital where she had been a patient since
Thursday.  She has been ill for four years.

She was born May 25, 1880, in Orange township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Lester Gilliland.  She was married to Samuel Loveland December 14, 1904, in
Berlin.  She lived on a farm in Orange for a few years of her married life, and
has lived on East Riverside Drive for 36 years.  She is a member of the Zion
Evangelical church.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel; a sister, Mrs. Bert McLellan; a foster
son, Richard Manning; two nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held from the Boynton funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m.
with the Rev. A.R. Kuehn officiating.  Interment will be at the Balcom cemetery.
