The service was conducted by Elder F. Claude Fell of Seventh-day Adventist church. Bearers were Ray Scharaswak, James Scharaswak, Earl Jacobs, Leonard Jacobs, Russell Neilson and Donald Gilmore. Military rites were conducted by Girard-Horrocks post of American Legion. Acting as color guard at Tuttle cemetery were Gerald Sturm, commander; Stanley Doty, vice commander; Julius Funk, chaplain; Earl Longwell, John Hudson, Ralph Donalson, Rev. Manson Lowe, Herbert Attenberger, Carl Seabrook and Otto Horrocks. Buglers were Brian Rosecrance and Pat Lyons and the flag was presented by Julius Funk. Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Warner and Mrs. Gary Feehan of Battle Creek, Mrs. Ida Schreiner and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rebici of Greenville, Mrs. Eva Randall and Mrs. Edith Brazee of Lansing, Mrs. Lucille Broadbent and Mrs. Virginia Hagadus of Grand Ledge.
