For a ten year period Mr. Lovely was a Lowell produce shipper, his warehouse being located near the present Pere Marquette siding of the Lowell Granite and Monument Company. He was also a farmer and a Howard City hardware dealer. He was a business protégé of his uncle, the late William Loveley of Howard City, large-scale produce shipper known as the “potato king.” Mr. Loveley, an Ionia County native, is survived by a sister, Mae. Funeral services were held on Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Haner chapel. Interment was in South Boston cemetery.
