Ionia Daily Standard, 6 Sep 1902

Henry H. Lovell died at the Spring Lake cottage on Friday, after an illness of
only two weeks, which was at no time thought to be critical.  Paralysis
developed and was the cause of death.  Deceased was aged 54 years, and was very
well known to the older residents of Ionia as for many years a tinsmith and
hardware dealer here.  He was a son of the late Judge Louis S. Lovell, and for
the fifteen years last past has resided at Grand Rapids.  The remains will be
brought to Ionia on Monday morning for interment in the family lot.  The
sincerest sympathy of many Ionia friends goes out to the bereaved wife and sons.
 No funeral service here.
