Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Jun 1973

Charles Harvey Lovrien, 77, of Matherton, died Tuesday at Clinton Memorial
hospital at St. Johns.  He was born in Ionia, May 5, 1895, and was a lifelong
resident of Ionia county.  He was a veteran of World War I and member of World
War I Veterans Barracks of Ionia.  December 19, 1921, he was married in Lyons to
Edna Shoen and she survives.

Besides the wife he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Doris Wood of Matherton and Mrs.
Dorothy Cusack of DeWitt; stepson, Loren Evans of Matherton; 12 grandchildren;
13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Burns-Schnepp funeral home at
Carson City.  Rev. W.C. Taylor will officiate and interment will be at East
Plains cemetery.  Bearers will be grandsons.
