A. Lowe, well-known Belding tailor, died not return to his home Monday night, Mrs. Lowe arose early Tuesday morning and went to his shop in search of him. Mrs. Lowe found his body in a wall case, where he had crawled some time Monday night, and after making a bed had turned on the gas. The case in which his body was found was one of which he used to hang clothing. Mr. Lowe was 73 years of age, and it is thought by the friends that a mental condition must have been the cause of the act. Coroner M. A. Reed impaneled the following jury: Al Wells, Ben Friedley, Ralph Daily, Lynn Simmons and A. L. Clehy. The jury met Tuesday morning, and reported that death was due to suicide. Mr. and Mrs. Lowe had been residents of Belding for many years, and resided on East Ellis avenue. A daughter resides in Detroit, and two sons live in California.
