Christina Lowe, aged 71, of Muir, passed away March 30, 2009.  She was born 
Aug. 7, 1937 in Bay City, Mich., the daughter of Emerson and Neoma (Comstock) 
Wetherell.  She married Thomas Lowe June 7, 1958 in East Lansing.  Christina 
was a member of Mt. Hope Church of Portland.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Thomas Lowe of Muir; 
children Cindy (Lee) Foster of St. Johns, Elizabeth Jerome of Ionia, Thomas 
(Wanda) Lowe II of Sunfield, Douglas Lowe of Mt. Pleasant, Bill Lowe of Lyons 
and James Lowe of Ionia; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother 
Floyd (Barb) Wetherell of Hemlock; sisters Patricia McKinney of Midland and 
Aletha (Gary) Lehman of Muir; several nieces and nephews and Christina’s 
caregiver Carla Sexton.  She was preceded in death by 1 nephew, Steve, and her 
parents.

Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Friday at Lake Funeral Home in Muir with 
Pastor Joe Robi officiating.  Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will 
receive friends and relatives 10 am. to 12 p.m. prior to the service at the 
funeral home. In lieu of flowers you may make memorial contributions to the 
family.
