Ionia Standard - Friday, April 13, 1895
The funeral of Cyrus Lovell took place Wednesday, from residence on Cyrus 
street, an appropriate sermon being preached by Rev. Dr. Barnes. All the 
children living were present. Mrs. John Ely, of Rockford, Mrs. Mont Lyon, of 
Holland, Mrs. A.W. Dodge and Mrs. Isabella Downs, of this city, and Mrs. 
Isabella Downs, of this city. Mr. Lyon and Mr. Dodge were also present. The 
bearers were Albert Williams, C.O. Thompson, Thos. E. Smith, L. Carpenter. 
Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery.

The funeral of the late Cyrus Lovell will be attended from his residence on 
Cyrus street, on Thursday afternoon, at 2 o'clock. The sermon will be by Rev. 
D.F. Barnes, D.D.
