Funeral services for Robert L. Lower, 56, who died in the crash of his light
plane Monday were held from SS. Peter and Paul Church Thursday morning at 11
a.m.  Concelebrants of the funeral mass the Revs. Henry Dondzila, Mark Mitchell,
Paul Johnson, Thomas Bolster, and Michael Demkovich.  Organist was Renate
Conrad.  Elaine Caswell was vocal soloist.  Members of the Ionia Knights of
Columbus formed an honor guard, and Ionia County Democrats attended as a group.
 Prior to church services, prayer service, led by Michael Marion, was held at
Myers-Roetman Funeral Home.  Pallbearers were Arthur Lower, Thomas Lower, Daniel
Lower, Rick Lower, Dan Balice, and David Roetman.  Burial was in Mt. Olivet
Cemetery.  Following graveside services, lunch was served to family and friends
in the cafeteria.
