Lloyd James Lowery, 41, of 7010 Bogart Road, Hubbardston, died at his 
residence Tuesday evening.  Born May 23, 1953, in Ionia, he was the son of 
Lewis and Lorna Woodard Lowery Jr.  He was graduated from Ionia High School, 
and worked on assembly at American Bumper and Manufacturing.

He was married in November 1981, in Coleman, to the former Nancy Robinson.  
She survives.  

Also surviving are three sons, Tom and John Lowery, at home, and Timothy 
Lowery of Belding; three daughters, Becky Lowery, at home, Janzane Lowery of 
Sheridan, and Jennifer Lowery of Belding; his father and stepmother, Lewis and 
Donna Lowery of Muir; two brothers, Mike and Joe Lowery of Muir; three 
stepbrothers, Roger Witzel of Stanton, Gary Witzel of Texas, and Steve Witzel 
of Muir; two sisters, Linda Green of Ionia and Joan Bailey of Saranac; and his 
paternal grandmother, Alice Lowery of Muir.  Three brothers and a sister 
preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, 
with the Rev. Kendall Harger officiating.  Burial will be in Palo Cemetery.  A 
memorial for wishes of the family has been established, in care of the funeral 
home.  The family will be at the funeral chapel Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 
to 9 p.m.
