Robert A. Lowery, sr., 69, died suddenly at his home in Lyons township, 
Saturday morning, November 26.  He was working in the barn when seized by a 
heart attack which caused his death.

He was born on April 27, 1869, in Ovid, Clinton county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
John Lowery.  He has been a resident of Lyons township for 25 years, where he 
farmed.  Mr. Lowery was preceded in death 16 years ago by his wife.  Surviving 
are four sons, Robert Lowery of Muir, Louis Lowery of Pewamo, Henry Lwery of 
Tacoma, Washington, Raymond Lowery at home; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard 
Fedewa of Pewamo, Mrs. Stanley Tonner of DeLitt, Nora Lowery at home and 14 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the home on Thursday afternoon, December 1, at 
2 o’clock with Rev. Wilson, pastor of the Lyons Methodist church officiating.  
Masonic rites will open and close the service.
