The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, August 16, 1956


Mrs. Lillian Lowery, 48, of North Plains township, died Wednesday, August 15, 
at 9:30 at the Ionia County Memorial hospital, where she had been a patient for 
a week.  She had been ill for some time.

Mrs. Lowery was born August 15, 1909 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Chester Ostrander and was married to Robert Lowery.  She was a member of the 
Eastern Star of Lyons.

Surviving are her husband, Robert; three daughters, Catherine Herald of North 
Plains township; Maxine Cowan of Garden Grove, Calif.; Lois Jean at home and 
seven grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
