Mrs. Thomas Lowrey Dies At Traverse

After five or six years ill health Mrs. Thomas Lowrey passed away at Traverse 
City last Thursday as the result of a stroke of paralysis.

Twelve years ago Mr. and Mrs. Lowrey moved from Lake Odessa to Saranac.  
Previous to their removal Mr. Lowrey conducted a store in the building now 
occupied by the Fred Urtel store.

They had many friends here and were highly respected people in the community 
and it was considered a loss when they moved elsewhere.

Many friends will sympathize with Mr. Lowrey in the loss of a woman held in 
such high regard.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at Saranac.  Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Snobble and 
Mrs. Beulah Kelly attended from here.

Mrs. Lowrey was 58 years of age.
