The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, April 15, 1966

Mrs. Myrtle R. Lowrey, 86, a long time resident of Saranac, who lived many 
years at 142 David highway, died April 15 at Belding Community hospital.  She 
was born June 17, 1879 in Berlin township the daughter of Albert and Mary Reed 
and was married to Carl Lowrey, who preceded her in death several years ago.

Surviving are two sons, Norton R. Lowrey of Riverside Calif., and Arthur D. of 
Ionia, route four; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, 
Mrs. Daisy Patrick of Saranac and Mrs. Mabel Herron of Lakeview.

Services will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at Morris funeral home in Saranac 
with interment at Saranac cemetery.
