He was born in Berlin township the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ebenezer Lowery and lived in Saranac until 10 years ago when he moved to Pontiac to make his home. Survivors are two sons, Douglas Lowrey and Rex Lowrey of Detroit; a grand child; five brothers, Ed. N. Lowrey of Ionia, Ray Lowrey of Ann Arbor, Carl Lowrey of Saranac, Harvey Lowrey of Dearborn, and Willard Lowrey of British Columbia, and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Hire of Pontiac. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, June 16 at 2 o’clock from the Myers funeral home in Ionia, with interment beside his father and mother at the Saranac cemetery. Rev. George Woolcock, pastor of the Ionia First Baptist church will conduct the services.
