She became a member of the Berlin Center church Feb. 19, 1904 and has live a consistent Christian life since then. To know her is to love her. During her illness which lasted two years, she was a great sufferer having to go to the hospital the third time to undergo an operation. But amid it all she was congeed. Her trust in God was complete. As she left her home for the hospital, she said to her loved ones,"I am not afraid to die." She leaves to mourn, a son, father and mother, Mr and Mrs Chas. McCoy, a sister and brother, besides a large circle of friends. The services were held at the Methodist church here, Friday February 14, conducted by Rev, A.E. North of Berlin Center assisted by Rev. A. T Luther the local pastor. The choir sang three beautiful songs. "When loved ones breathe their last.", "Rest and sleep," and "Drifting away." She was laid to rest beside her husband in Lakeside cemetery. The flora offerings were many and beautiful especially those from the Gleaners and Maccabees.
