The Ionia County News, Thursday, February 24, 1944
Roy R. Lowrey, born in Berlin township to Mr. and Mrs. Ebenezer N. Lowrey, and 
for many years a resident here, passed away February 17 at his home in Milan.  
He is survived by his wife, a son, two daughters, one sister, Mrs. L. F. Hire 
of Pontiac, a brother, Carl J. Lowrey of Saranac; a brother, Harvey H. Lowrey 
of Dearborn and other relatives and friends.  Those from here who attended 
funeral rites on Saturday were: Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lowrey and son, Arthur, 
Chas. H. Locher and daughter, Mrs. Keith Talcott.  Mr. Locher is a brother of 
Mrs. Lowrey.

Lowery and Lowrey.
