The Ionia Standard, Friday, August 13, 1915
Tracy B. Lowrey of Berlin township died at midnight after a long illness with 
Organic heart trouble.  He was seventy-three years old and a Civil war 
veteran.  He leaves two sons, Bruce and George Lowrey.  County School 
Commissioner H. H. Lowrey and Sheriff Lowrey are nephews.  The funeral was 
held on Monday afternoon at the home, and burial will be in Balcom cemetery.
