She was born in Roxand Twp., Eaton County, MI on March 14, 1916 to Charles A. and Gladys D. (Gunn) Cochrane. On June 12, 1936 Mary was united in marriage to Gordon Lozo. Mary and Gordon were married for almost 70 years prior to his death on February 28, 2006. For many years, Mary and Gordon owned and operated Lozo Meat Processing in Lake Odessa. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her, and always brought a smile to her face. Mary is survived by her son, Gregory and Phyllis Lozo of Oklahoma; grandchildren, David and Amy Lozo, and Monya and Melvin Wortley; great grandchildren, Trulana and Audra Worley, and Kristin, Dallas, and Annalise Lozo; great grandson, Hunter Chick; sister, Margaret Walker; and special friend, Pat Fedewa. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon Lozo; sister, Josephine Dixon; and brother, Robert Cochrane. Visitation will be held at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa on Monday, May 15, 2006 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Koops Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16. Private family burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery. The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the Lakewood Community Ambulance.
