He was born in Bay City, September 15, 1877, the son of John and Estella Lozo. Mr. Lozo owned and operated markets in Vermontville and Woodland before moving to Lake Odessa in 1950. He retired as a butcher in 1952 for reasons of health. His first wife, Ruby Seely, died in 1932, and he was married in 1933 to Ethel Toms. He is survived by his wife, Ethel, five sons, Lewis of Lansing, Seely of Vermontville, John of Ann Arbor, Gordon of Lake Odessa, and Erwin of Ionia, two daughters, Mrs. Howard Sippel of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Mrs. Robert Dell of North Hollywood, Calif., eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. The body will be at Pickens funeral chapel until services Tuesday at 1 p.m., with interment at Woodlawn cemetery in Vermontville. Rev. Dean VanderVeen will officiate.
