Sheehan officiating who read the following obituary and preached a fine sermon. Cyntha A. Wright, daughter of Hezekiah and Elizabeth Wright, was born Sept. 12, 1813, in Pittstown, Rensellar Co., N.Y., where her childhood and youth were passed. She was of a family of 11 children but two of whom survive. In 1830 she was married to Geo. A. R. Luce with whom she lived a long and happy life until his death which took place in 1889. Four children blessed their home, James H., Chas. Wright Luce, Emeline Weaver with whom she spent her last years and Mrs. Henriette Green who preceded her to the better land 25 years ago. She came with her family to Mich. in 1857 and settled in North Otisco on what is now known as the Staley farm. At the age of 27 she was converted and joined the Methodist church in which fellowship she continued faithful until she was called to the Church Triumphant. During her last years while physical infirmities kept her from the house of God, she was strong in her Christian faith, “She knew in whom she had believed” and trusted Him for daily grace. She passed peacefully away Jan. 31, 1907, aged 93 years, 4 months and 19 days.
