Ludlow, 77, of route 3, Ionia, Easton township, died Friday morning at six o’clock. He was born in Baltimore, Barry county, August 17, 1880, the son of George and Rosie Ludlow. At Yankee Springs he was married November 5, 1902 to Edith Johnson. They lived in northern Michigan for several years, and in 1918 came to Ionia county. The Ludlows have lived at the present residence since 1929. In 1952 they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home. Mr. Ludlow was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren church, a former member of the church board, and a member of the Fellowship class. Surviving besides his wife, Edith, are one son, Harold of route 3; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bruce Vermilya and Mrs. Myrtle Linton of Muskegon, and four brothers, Kenneth of West Palm Beach, Fla., George of Coopersville, Orva of Dayton, Ohio, and Cecil of Richland. The body will be at Stone-Kauffman funeral home until Monday noon when it will be taken to the Zion Evangelical United Brethren church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. John Price, assisted by the Rev. A. R. Kuehn. Interment is to be at the family lot in Coman cemetery near Middleville.
