She had suffered a stroke on February 18 which left her quite helpless and her step-daughters, Mrs. A. B. Williams and Mrs. Dora Doty, of Ionia have been caring for her since that time. Mrs. Ludwick was formerly Mrs. Ida Mead of Ionia. The early part of her life she lived in Indiana and also in Illinois. She was about 80 years old at the time of her death. She was an active member of the Saranac Methodist church until her health failed. She was married to Charles Ludwick about 14 years ago in Ionia and after a few years spent here the couple moved to Saranac where she spent the remaining years of her life. Surviving are the husband, Charles Ludwick and two step-daughters, Mrs. A. B. Williams and Mrs. Dora Doty, of Ionia, a nephew, August Krueger, of Ionia and a few other relatives in Indiana. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10 at 2 p.m. from the Saranac Methodist church with Rev. Frank Loomis officiating. Interment will be held at the Saranac cemetery.
