Ionia Sentinel, Tuesday, January 14, 1947

Herman C. Ludwick, 78, died at the home of his son, Ernest Ludwick of Lyons 
township, Tuesday morning about 1:50 o’clock.

Surviving his are two sons, Ernest of Lyons township and Ross of Lansing; three 
grandchildren, Delores of Lansing, Kenneth of Muir and Ford serving in the 
armed services in Europe; and one great grandchild.

He was born November 12, 1868, in Muir and has resided in that vicinity all his 
life.  He was a carpenter by trade.

The body will be at the Shaw Rivett funeral chapel until 1 p.m. Thursday.  
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Muir Presbyterian church with 
interment in North Plains cemetery.
