Ionia Daily Sentinel, 23 Nov 1906

Hubbardston, Nov. 21.  Curtis Ludwick, aged 46 years, was found dead in his room 
in a hotel in the southern part of New Jersey, last Sunday morning.  The deceased 
seemed as well as usual upon retiring and the cause of his death was given as 
asphyxiation with gas.  The remains arrived here Thursday morning, and the 
funeral was held Thursday at the home of his father, George Ludwick, two miles 
north of town.  Mr. Henry Ludwick and wife, of Traverse City, and Irvin Ludwick 
and daughter, Fannie, of Vestaburg, were here to attend the funeral.  Interment 
in the west side cemetery.
