Ludwick, 80- year-old residence of Ionia and Clinton county. Until three weeks ago when he suffered a bruised side while working, he had lived at his home at Nickle Plate in Ronald township where he had resided for the past ten years. Three weeks ago he was taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mina Leach, at 1012 Temple street, Detroit, where he died Sunday night. He was stricken one week ago. For a number of years he lived in Clinton county on a farm near the Ionia county line in the vicinity of Pewamo. For three years he lived at Lyons and then moved to Ronald township 10 years ago. He was born in New York state, July 17, 1859. His wife died five months ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mina Leach and Mrs. Goldie Wilson of Ionia; a sister, Mrs. C. A. Dixon of Belding, and a brother, Ed. Ludwick of Pewamo. Funeral services will be held from the Boynton funeral parlors Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. Frederick Dunbar, Ionia Methodist church pastor, officiating. Interment will be at the North Plains cemetery.
