Jennie A. Ludwick, aged 87, of Muir, passed away February 13, 2006 in Carson 
City. She was born September 2, 1918 in Ashley, Michigan the daughter of Leon 
and Bessie (Doughtrey) Kochensparger. She married Kenneth Ludwick in April of 
1939 he preceded her in death in January of 1983.

Jennie was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Lyons-Muir Church, Lyons 
Muir Lions Club, Eastern Star, Stephen Ministry and belonged to Lyons Muir 
Historical Society. She taught school in a number of area schools finishing 
her career in Portland Public Schools.

Jennie is survived by her son Marvin and Carol Ludwick of Muir; brother in law 
Arthur Esch of Maple Rapids; sister in law Eudora Ludwick of Ionia; 
grandchildren Shawn Peeples of Muir, Shannon Ludwick and fiance` Michelle Magg 
of Muir and seven great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her 
parents and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday at Lyons Muir Church. 
Interment Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives 
Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Muir. You may 
make memorial contributions in Jennie’s name to Lyons-Muir Church.
