Ionia Daily Sentinel, 19 Mar 1918 & Unidentified Newspaper, 22 Mar 1918

The funeral services for Benjamin A. Ludwig will be held from the residence in 
Pewamo Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock.  Rev. E. E. Branch will officiate 
and the Ionia Male quartet will furnish the music.  The remains will be taken 
to Shepherd, Mich., Thursday morning for burial.

B. A. Ludwick, postmaster at Pewamo, and also manager of the telephone exchange 
at that place, died Friday night.  He had been in failing health for some time 
and his resignation as postmaster had been forwarded to the department but had 
not been acted upon up to the time of his death.
