The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, July 1, 1948
Fred Luft, 78, father of Mrs. Riste Temelco of Ionia, died at his home in 
Owosso at 11:45 am. Wednesday following a cerebral hemorrhage Monday.  He was 
born September 10, 1870 in Shiawassee county, where he resided all his life.  
He farmed until recently, whe he retired.  Mr. Luft and his wife visited in 
Ionia city many times.

He leaves his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Temelco of Ionia, Mrs. Dale Traft of 
Ithaca and Mrs. Edna Richmond of Detroit; two sons, Otto and Ray, of Flint; 
eight grandchildren, and one great grandson. 

Funeral services will be held from the Jennings-Lyons funeral home in Owosso 
Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. with interment in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
