The funeral was held from the M.E. church at Sunfield Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the M.E. minister of that village, and the unfortunate young lady’s remains laid at rest in the Sunfield cemetery. She was the daughter of H. Putnam, a farmer living south of Sunfield, and was married to young Lumbert less than six months ago, she being but a little over 16 years of age when married. The young couple had not been residents of the village very long, hence but few had made their acquaintance. Lumbert was employed by Mr. Mackey at the ice house.
