The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, August 9, 1985

Cheryl Ann Luna, 30, of Portland died August 7.  She was born in Highland Park 
on May 1, 1955, the daughter of Richard and Beverly (Shaffner) Ryerson.  She 
was employed as a waitress at Ernie’s Root Cellar in Portland.

Surviving are husband Enrique, two sons, Enrique Jr. and Christopher; two 
daughters, Andrea and Stephanie, all at home.  Also surviving are her parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ryerson of Portland; a grandfather, Carl Schaffner; a 
brother, Richard Ryerson Jr. of Eaton Rapids; three sisters, Betty Richcreek, 
of Webster, Ind., Bonnie Schuster of Mason, and Connie Trierweiler of Portland.

Rosary will be Friday at 8:00 p.m. at the Neller Funeral home in Portland.  
Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, with the 
Rev. Richard Van Lente officiating.  Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.
