The Portland observer, Thursday, March 7, 1935

Mrs. Susie Lung, 86, widow of Charles Lung, of Lyons, died Friday at her home 
in Lyons.  Mrs. Lung was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Warner, pioneers 
of North Plains township.  She married Charles Lung in 1896 and since then had 
made her home in Lyons.  Mr. Lung’s death occurred several years ago.  She was 
one of the first members of the Baptist church in Lyons and had always been an 
active worker.

Surviving are three step-children, Mrs. Ruth Morris of Alma, Cyril Lung of 
Grand Rapids, and William Lung of Kalamazoo, and one niece, Mrs. F. M. Marsh, 
of Ionia.

Funeral services were conducted form the Baptist church in Lyons Sunday 
afternoon with burial at the Lyons cemetery.
