Y. and soon after her people moved to Sandusky, Ohio. She was married to John Lunger May 17, 1846 at Freemont Ohio where they lived until Oct. 1852 when they moved to Portland Michigan. They moved from Portland here to Odessa in 1867 settling on the farm northeast of town where they lived until their death. Mr. Lunger dying six years ago. To them were born six children four dying in infancy and the two remaining now Mrs. Jennie Parmlee and Mrs. Etta Merrell, both of whom were with their mother during her short sickness and at the time of her death Oct 15 age 80 years 28 days. The funeral was held at the house conducted by Elder Wight of Otsego and the remains were laid at rest in the family lot in the Portland cemetery. Mrs. Lunger was converted in early life and joined the Adventist church and remained a steadfast member throughout her life. She was a devoted wife and mother, always ready to give a helping hand to her neighbors and friends in time of need and will long be remembered for her many good acts and splendid type of womanly life.
